Texas County Sheriff Carl Watson said authorities are still awaiting toxicology results and he expects charges will be filed against a person of interest in last week’s death of a 28-year-old Yukon man.
“We know charges will be filed,” Watson said. “It could be a manslaughter charge or it could be something worse. But we’ve got to wait until the toxicology results come back before we can do that.”
The victim, Jeff McConnaha II, was transported by ambulance from Bear Claw Road in the Yukon area. He was pronounced dead at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
