Mildred B. Mascher, 95, daughter of Lee and Martha Buster Elliott, was born Jan. 10, 1913, at Council Hill, Okla. She died May 18, 2008, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
She married Thurman Mascher Nov. 23, 1959. They lived in Tulsa, Okla., for 11 years and moved to the Licking area in 1970.
Mrs. Mascher was a member of the First Baptist Church of Licking and enjoyed reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Aug. 28, 1985; several brothers and sisters and two grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Iona Miller of Licking and Eva Pappadato of Banning, Calif.; seven grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Servcies are 2 o’clock today (Thursday) at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Noel Mooney officiating. Burial is in the Licking Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1 o’clock until time for services today (Thursday) at the Evans chapel.
