Houston police cited three with shoplifting in two separate investigations during the last week.
Officers cited Nadatha S. Walker, 17; and Ashley D. Ellison, 18, both of 415 W. Mill, #5, with stealing less than $500 at Houston Wal-Mart on April 28. Recovered on Ellison were nine items worth $66, police said. Walker had five items totaling about $45.
They also charged James L. Begley Jr., 19, of Licking, with stealing under $500 from Houston Wal-Mart on April 30. Four DVDs, toiletries, condoms and male enhancement products were taken worth $158.
In other matters, police:
-Cited Glenn A. Losh III, 102 N. Grand Ave., with peace disturbance, According to a police report, Losh refused to get off a city bus on April 23 after using foul language.
-Charged Wanda J. Barr, 78, of Cabool, with failing to obey an electric signal after she was involved in an accident on April 30. Police said her vehicle while southbound on South Sam Houston Blvd. at Holder Drive, proceeded through a red traffic signal and struck a car operated by Thomas N. Tomlinson, 61, of 1345 E. Crest Drive. He had started a left turn from eastbound Holder Drive onto the highway, police said.
-Arrested Debbie Risher, 50, of 1249 W. Highway 17, on a Texas County warrant charging her with failing to return rental property. She posted $5,000 bond on April 28.
-Are investigating fraud on a debit card belonging to George A. Sholtz, 21, of 407 King. Items totaling about $500 were purchased online using the card. Police said the transactions occurred using an Internet connection originating from Hicksville, N.Y.
