Vila “Vi” Lee Williams, 77, daughter of James G. and Virgie C. Arnold Keeter, was born July 17, 1930, in Arkansas. She died May 19, 2008, at Ozarks Medical Center at West Plains.

She spent her life working to provide and care for her family and enjoyed attending Maness Memorial Baptist Church. She started attending there when it was first established.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Surviving are her husband, Aaron “Willie” Williams of the home; two daughters, Linda Wescom of Davenport, Iowa, and Vicki Lay of Cabool; one brother, Bill Keeter of Houston; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Services are 10:30 today (Thursday) at the Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home Chapel in Cabool with the Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Burial is in the Cabool Cemetery.
