Larry Dean Bailey, 39, son of Howard and Velma Boyd Bailey, was born Jan. 1, 1969, at Houston. He died May 29, 2008, from injuries sustained in an accident.
A resident of Sparta, he was a heating and service technician for Springfield Mechanical. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and hunting.
He and his wife, Cindy, were married Feb. 22, 2003. They attended the First Baptist Church of Ozark.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Ruthene Brown.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Tyler Bailey of Houston; his mother of Hartshorn; and seven siblings, Elmer Bailey, Lorene Vandivort, Virginia Wilbanks, Marlene Gray, Arlene Su, Denver Bailey and Jean Farrow.
Services were June 2 at the First Baptist Church of Ozark with burial at the Union Chapel Cemetery at Eunice under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ozark.
Memorials in Mr. Bailey’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
