LEE ENNIS

Lee Anthony Ennis, 42, son of Robert and LaVonne Fennell Ennis, was born March 30, 1966, at Dublin, Ga. He died June 18, 2008, in an automobile accident near Success.

He grew up in Talbottom, Ga., where he graduated in 1984 from Manchester High School.

He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years, retiring in 2005 as a drill sergeant.

He was a Civil Service weapons repairman.

His greatest interests were his wife, family and church. He enjoyed traveling, camping and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis and Ruby Ennis and Jack Fennell; and step-grandfather, William White.

Surviving are his wife Michelle Bailey Ennis of the home in Houston; children of the home, Hannah LeChelle and Dalton; an adopted daughter, Arianna, of the home; his parents of Georgia; a brother, Stanley, of Georgia; and his maternal grandmother, Melrose White of Georgia.

Services were June 21 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Wallace and the Rev. Dwayne Felton officiating. Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Dalton and Hannah Education Fund in care of First National Bank of Houston.
