A Mountain View man who was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday evening faces several charges, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Robert G. Leftwitch, 47, was flown to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield after the 6:20 p.m. crash on Hwy. 137 at Honeyfield Drive.
Leftwitch was cited for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless and imprudent driving after his northbound 1995 Lincoln ran off the roadway, hit a ditch and became airborne before hitting an unoccupied pickup parked in a driveway, the patrol said.
