Two county agriculture organizations will sponsor a candidates’ forum at 7 p.m. July 24 at the Houston Lions Club Den on North U.S. 63.
The Texas County Cattlemen’s Association and Texas County Farm Bureau invited candidates in contested races for commissioner, sheriff and assessor to give a brief summary of their qualifications and experience, as well as reply to questions. The public is invited.
