Don L. Clark, 69, son of Paul and Pearl Helton Clark, was born Oct. 8, 1938, at Iberia. He died July 5, 2008, at his home after a brief battle with lung cancer even though he was a non-smoker.
Mr. Clark was a teacher in the Cabool School system for 21 years, retiring in 1995. He also taught at the Drury University Cabool campus for several years.
He was well known for his Mr. C’s caps, which he started in 1991 and operated for 14 years.
Surviving are his wife, Suzanne, of the home; son, Jeff Walker of Excelsior Springs; daughter, Donna Sue Armstrong of DeSoto; seven grandchildren and one sister.
At his request, no services are planned.
Arrangements were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.
