A Republican candidate for Missouri governor will be in Houston on Monday morning for her statewide kitchen table tour.
Missouri Treasurer Sarah Steelman will be at the home of Kevin McGowen at 9 a.m.
“When I was growing up my family and friends and neighbors would sit around our table and talk politics – absolutely nothing was off limits,” said Steelman. “It didn’t matter whether you were a Democrat or Republican, Independent or whether you even belonged to a party – at that table everyone belonged.”
Steelman says the visits allow her to carry her message directly into the homes of Missourians.
