A 16-year-old Houston boy was turned over to juvenile authorities July 9 after leading officers on a foot pursuit after an incident at a Skyview Terrace apartment, police said.

Authorities said the boy sparked an argument at 306 Skyview Terrance. He is charged with peace disturbance and property damage. His father said the boy broke out a window and had attempted to strike him.

A breathalyzer test showed the boy to be twice over the legal limit for alcohol for an adult. The reading was .161
