Charyl Ann Loman, 67, daughter of Daryl Maurer and Beulah Maurer, was born Sept. 19, 1944, at Nampa, Idaho, while her father was in the European Theater as a crew member of the B17 flying fortress. She died Aug. 13, 2008, at her home at Nampa, Idaho.

She grew up in Nampa and attended Nampa High School, where she met her first husband, Manuel Navarro. They had one son, Joe.

She later met and married Oliver Loman. They lived in Nampa and had one son. Mrs. Loman worked at Hehr International.

In 1977, the Lomans moved to Cabool, where they operated an apartment building and Charyl’s Country Kitchen. She later worked for many years for Murr Drug and Dime Store.

After her husband’s death in 1996, she moved back to Nampa, where she spent time with her grandchildren and mother.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her sons, Joe Navarro and Ross Loman; stepson, Russell Loman; stepdaughter, Brenda Loman; family members and friends, Amanda Loman and Suzette Armas; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Services were Aug. 16 at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel in Nampa, Idaho. Local services were Aug. 19 at the Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home in Cabool with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the Jarrett Cemetery.
