Eva May Gale Hall, 94, eldest daughter of Otis Delmar and Agnes Nancy Gale, was born May 1, 1914, near Hartshorn. She died Aug. 1, 2008, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla.

Mrs. Hall lived in the Hartshorn community until she married Verl F. Hall. They made their home near Licking.

She loved to cook big meals, work in her yard and vegetable garden, play the harmonica and do jig dancing.

Mrs. Hall retired from Texas County Memorial Hospital and worked many more years at the Texas County Courthouse, retiring again.

She was preceded in death by her husband; oldest son, Claude F. Hall; daughter, Louise Burgdorf; siblings, Lola, Tom, Sidney, Artis, Vina, Ruby, Othel, Elsie, Idola and Virtus; and two grandchildren.

Surviving are her son, Dale Hall of Licking; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 33 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Aug. 4 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Everett Perkins officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery.
