Lucky Lois Evans, 66, daughter of Jack and Minnie Simms Carson, was born June 25, 1942, at Slagle, La. She died Sept. 14, 2008, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
Surviving are her husband, Edward K. Evans of Elk Creek; a son, Eddie Joe Evans of Springfield; two brothers, Chet “Buddy” Carson of Little Rock, Ark., and Joe Carson of Toroua, Kan.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
