A Licking man faces an unlawful use of a weapon charge following his arrest by Licking police.
Police Chief Scott Lindsey said Timothy S. Vestal, 18, of Licking, was arrested after a vehicle search that uncovered a .40-caliber Smith and Wesson pistol concealed in the vehicle. Other items seized will be submitted to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crime lab for tests to determine if controlled substances were present, Lindsey said.
