Plato School District is hosting an evening parent/community program at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, in the high school gymnasium. The guest speaker is Bill Sanders, a motivational speaker who has spoken to more than five million people.
Bill Sanders has authored 14 books and is featured in “Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul.” He has shared the speaker’s platform with Josh McDowell, Paul Harvey, Dr. Denis Waitley, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Dr. Robert Schuler, Terry Bradshaw, Chuck Swindoll, Zig Ziglar, President Ford, President Reagan and others. In addition, he has spoken on more than 400 radio stations.
The evening parent/community program is “Building Successful Families.”
Included in the program is:
• Lots of laughter and inspirational stories
• Learning the 11 greatest words in building successful families
• How to maintain a positive outlook on life
• How to open the communication channels
• Understanding today’s teenager better
• T.U.A.L. (Total, Unconditional Acceptance and Love)
• Why kids of all ages still spell love – TIME
