Items from this week’s police blotter:
-Arrested Brandon L. Campbell, 28, of 8164 Morton Road, No. 6, on a warrant charging him with non support. He also had a Greene County warrant charging him with passing bad checks. He was unable to post $2,000 bond on the county offense on Aug. 27.
-Arrested Jeremy D. Sanders, 26, address unknown, on a City of Houston warrant charging him with trespassing. He was unable to post $185.50 bond and was held for 48 hours. Police said Sanders’ paramour, Melissa A. Gentry, 21, turned herself in on a City of Houston charge of minor in possession of alcohol. She was placed on a 72-hour hold after being unable to post bond Aug. 28.
-Charged Charles R. Mayes, 33, of 115 S. Oak Crest, with animal neglect on Aug. 25. Police said two dogs were found without food, water or shelter in 90-degree temperatures.
-Investigated an Aug. 21 report of damage to a vehicle belonging to Nathan M. Mutzebaugh, 17, of 5735 Highway 63. Damage was reported to the left bedside of the vehicle while parked in the north
parking lot of Hiett Gymnasium.
-Charged Gary L. Goodchild, 59, 7649 Maries Lane, with DWI on Aug. 23.
-Cited Mengies C. Robertson, 75, of 1201 Chestnut St., with failing to yield the right-of-way following an Aug. 31 accident near South Sam Houston Blvd. and Chestnut Street. Police said Robertson struck a vehicle driven by Jeffrey D. Wooldridge, 32, of Duenweg, while pulling from Chestnut Street onto the highway.
-Cited Jacey L. Mott, 17, of Springfield, with trespassing on the grounds of the Houston School District campus. Mott is a former student, police said.
-Investigated damage to the rear passenger side door of a vehicle parked Aug. 30 at Corner Express. The complainant was Janet L. Lockman of 9461 Highway E, police said.
-Cited Jeffrey D. Stilley, 18, of 16436 Kansas Lane, with following too closely after an accident at Aug. 29 at Grand Avenue and South Sam Houston Blvd. He struck a car in the rear operated by Daniel C. Hartman, 43, of 215 W. Hawthorn.
-Arrested Kelli M. Ivie, 29, of 528 Dogwood Lane, on a Fordland Police Department related to a traffic offense. She posted $300 bond.
