Six injured in wreck north of Houston; accident also reported on West 17

An accident north of Houston on Saturday afternoon injured six people on U.S. 63 north of Twin Bridges, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Sgt. Dewayne Gale of the patrol said a southbound 2001 Chrysler Sebring driven by Michelle L. Mongillo, 25, of West Plains, hydroplaned, crossed the centerline and struck head-on a Ford Escape operated by Trisha Bradberry, 35, of West Plains.

Both drivers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

Four passengers in the Bradberry SUV also were taken to the hospital: David L. Bradberry, 40; and Maria M. Bradberry, 12, both had minor injuries and reside at Waynesville. Moderate injuries were reported for David L. Bradberry Jr., 15; and Michael D. Toole, 16, both of Waynesville.

Both vehicles were totaled. Members of the Texas County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.

Another accident left a truck on its side on West Highway 17 just outside the city limits. The rescue squad and patrol were on the scene.
