Several offices at Missouri State University-West Plains will have extended hours Saturday, Jan. 10, and Monday, Jan. 12, to accommodate students with last-minute business for the spring 2009 semester.
Offices that will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 10, including admissions, the business office, Drago College Store, financial aid, registration and records, student advisement and academic support center and student services. These same offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, to give students the opportunity to register for classes and complete other paperwork involved in the registration process during the first week of classes.
University officials said these special extended office hours will be a good time for students to purchase text books and school supplies, check on financial aid matters, get another copy of their class schedule, visit with advisers and complete the admissions and registration process. MSU also has a satellite campus in Houston.
Classes begin Jan. 12. Students have until Friday, Jan. 16, to register for classes during the late registration period; however, a $15 late registration fee will be charged for those who register after the extended hours period on Jan. 10.
