A Licking woman was injured last Wednesday in a Dent County head-on crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The patrol said a car driven by Melvin L. Steele, 44, of West Plains, was attempting to make a turn into a private drive and struck head-on a vehicle operated by Gath Blankenship, 68, of Licking.
The patrol said both drivers were wearing seat belts, and each was to seek their own medical treatment. Extensive damage was reported to each vehicle following the wreck on Highway 32 about four miles west of Salem.
