Mackrene F. “Mackie” Elmore, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, in Forsyth.
She was born Jan. 14, 1929, in Houston, daughter of Mack and Sadie Todd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Gil; a son, Todd; and a brother, Ernest Todd.
Survivors include a daughter, Fran of Powersite; a grandson; and a granddaughter.
Per her wishes, no services were held. Cremation was under the direction of the Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the National Humane Society or any local chapter, Defenders of Wildlife or any animal shelter.
