Texas County’s unemployment rate inched upward in November, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
The figure was 7.4 percent, which is an increase of six-tenths of a percentage point from the previous month.
Other counties and their jobless rates: Douglas, 7.0; Howell, 6.4; Shannon, 9.1; and Wright, 7.8. The average in south-central Missouri was 7.2 percent.
