Four persons are seeking two seats on the Houston board of education.
Kathy Hutcheson, the incumbent, is the latest to declare for the board. Filing earlier were incumbent Steve Pounds, Darren Ice and John Impey.
Filings close Jan. 20 for city, township, school board and two county boards.
Filings in the City of Houston are: Sharon Sillyman, Ward I; Bruce Wilson, Ward II; and Bill Maxwell, Ward III. Steve Hutcheson’s term as mayor also expires.
There have been no filings for county hospital board. Incumbent Larry Southern resigned earlier.
Filings for the county health department are: C.J. Smith, Houston; Ron Stone, Licking; and Kirby Holmes, Cabool. The incumbents are Smith, Stone and William Bridges.
