Houston police made several arrests and investigated accidents during the last week.
Officers:
-Investigated a case of third-degree assault and first-degree trespassing at an apartment at 112 Spruce St., on Jan. 16. The investigation continues.
-Cited Cole G. Nelson, 20, Mountain Grove, with possession of alcohol by minor by consumption and Dustin T. Reed, 19, of Norwood, exceeded posted speed limit, DWI and failed to exhibit insurance identification card on Jan. 23. The citations were issued following a traffic stop on South Sam Houston Blvd.
-Charged Deloris J. Luckey, 30, of Mountain Grove, with failing to register motor vehicles (displayed plates of another vehicle) and failing to exhibit insurance identification card on Jan. 23.
-Investigated a Jan. 21 accident on a private parking lot. Police said a vehicle driven by Michael S. Williams, 52, of Mountain Grove, struck a vehicle operated by Sokkan Ouck, 23, of Cabool.
-Arrested Rusty A. Strunk, 24, of Mountain Grove, on a Wright County warrant charging him with second-degree assault. He was unable to post $30,000 bond.
-Investigated a Jan. 22 accident that officers said occurred when a vehicle driven by Katie M. Anderson, 35, of 1223 John Street, entered the northbound highway from a business drive and was struck by southbound vehicle operated by Tyler A. Selby, 17, of 5750 U.S. 63. Anderson said she thought the Selby vehicle was turning into the parking lot.
-Arrested Brandon W. Stark, 24, of Cabool, on a parole violation warrant Jan. 22. He was taken to jail. No bail was set.
-Arrested Michael S. Ashworth, 44, on a Franklin County warrant charging him with failing to appear on a drug charge on Jan. 24.
