A second segment of the youth deer season – over the weekend – resulted in checking 153, the Missouri Department of Conservation said.
Travis Mills, a conservation agent, said the breakdown was: antlered bucks, 78; button bucks, 29; and does, 46.
The top three counties were: Osage, 270; Franklin, 222; and Gasconade, 210.
