Bertha M. Blair Case, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009 at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Blooming Rose, daughter of John McKinley Blair and Emma Jane Pax Blair.

She was a retired minister with the Assembly of God and held revivals in school houses, churches and brush arbors. She also pastured for awhile.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, Austin B. Case; three brothers; a sister; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Majorie Clevenger and Jane White of Edgar Springs; four sons, Wayne Case, Don Case, Lonnie Case and Lonnie Case of Edgar Springs; a brother, Elisha Blair of Licking; 27 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were Saturday, Jan. 31, at Rambo Assembly of God with the Rev. Lonnie Case, the Rev. Elisha Blair and the Rev. Dwight Clevenger officiating. Burial was in Beulah Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
