The youth group at Ozark Baptist Church will go door-to-door from 1:30 until 4 p.m. Saturday, April 4, as part of a food drive for the Texas County Food Pantry.
Homeowners in and around Houston are asked to have non-perishable canned goods ready during that time. Students from Southwest Baptist University will assist the group.
The food drive is part of the youth group’s “Disciple Now” weekend. Scott Barton, organizer of the event, said there is a shortage of food at the pantry.
