The University of Missouri Extension Community Garden Project is well under way with plans for a grand garden opening at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 19.
At that time, box gardens will be assigned to volunteers. Gardens will also be available to adopt (or sponsor) for a donation. These gardens will be planted and maintained by Texas County Master Gardeners and other volunteers.
There will be gardening information available, plus music and food.
