Houston were called to investigate several calls during the last week.
Officers:
-Arrested Chad F. Yates, 26, of Licking, on a Licking warrant charging him with DWI and resisting arrest. He was unable to post the $538 bond on April 19.
-Charged Thomas M. Weber, 41, of Eunice, with third-degree assault at Skyview Terrace. The 18-year-old victim was struck twice in the face April 14, police said.
-Are investigating the cutting of locks on 10 units at Houston Self Storage, 802 S. Sam Houston Blvd., between March 27 and March 30. It was unclear whether anything was taken, police said.
-Heard from Andrea Sawyer, 22, of 508 Florence St., who reported her Murray push lawn mower had been stolen from her property on April 18.
-Responded April 13 to a wreck at West Highway 17 and Airport Road. Driver Francis W. Vandivort, 60, of 6332 Highway Z, reported hydroplaning on Highway 17, running off the roadway. It jackknifed a cattle trailer, police said.
-Arrested Devin J. Carter, 21, of 721 Dooley, April 13 on a county warrant charging him as owner, authorized another to operate a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility on April 13. He posted $171 bond.
-Arrested William A. Wilson, 22, address unknown, on April 13 on a county warrant charging him with tampering with a motor vehicle and property damage. No bond was set; he was required to appear before a judge.
