Houston police handled several traffic-related investigations during the last week.
Officers:
-Cited Kimberly K. Folsom, 41, of 18100 Highway B, with failure to exhibit insurance identification card on May 17.
-Investigated an accident May 15 that police said occurred when a 2004 Ford F-150 struck a light pole at the Southern Inn parking lot on South Sam Houston Blvd. Driver Jose L. Briceno, 46, told police said he was crossing the parking lot and struck a pothole, causing his glasses to fall from his face. He reached down to pick them and up and did not see the light pole, according to a report.
-Cited Jeremy D. Sanders, 27, of 112 W. Spruce St., Apt. 8, with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license revoked, failed to register motor vehicle – displayed plates of another vehicle and failure to exhibit insurance identification card on May 15.
-Arrested Lyndon A. Dodson, 46, of 116 N. Grand Ave., on county warrants charging him with DWI, operating a motor vehicle on the highway while driver’s license revoked and failure to drive on the right half of roadway when it was of sufficient width. He was unable to post $50,000 bond on May 15.
-Charged Kandice R. Pearson, 8447 Mineral Drive, with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license was suspended on May 16.
-Cited Tabitha L. Smith, 24, of 8164 Morton Road, #20, with failure to exhibit insurance identification card on May 17. Police said Smith’s vehicle struck a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta owned by Emily Stubbs on the Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot.
-Are investigating the theft of tools May 12 from the Jim Jones residence on Phelps Street.
