Tildia Faye Foster, 66, died Monday, April 27, 2009, at her home in Roby.

She was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Mountain Home, Ark, daughter of John and Lida Cox.

She was a GED graduate of Houston High School. She retired in 2004 as a mess hall attendant at Fort Leonard Wood. She was a member of Plato Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Russell Foster; a son, Jimmy Earls; two sisters, Genelda and Lida Ann; six brothers, Ben Cox, Cleve Cox, Wilford Cox, Woodrow Cox and two unnamed baby boys.

Survivors include eight children, William Foster of Romulus, Mich., Thomas Earls of Jena, La., Charles Foster, Scott Foster and Thomas Foster of Osage Beach, Linda Earls of Plato and Lora Earls and Junior Vaughan of Roby; two adopted daughters, Pamela Hall of Plato and Helen Morris of Doniphan; five sisters, Annabelle Creviston of Missouri, Elenora Nance of California, Dorothy Huckabee and Lily Cato of Doniphan and Frances Haney of Arkansas; five brothers, Henry Cox of Naylor, Crawford Cox of Fairdealing, Riley Cox of Crawfield, Burley Cox of Doniphan and Johnny Cox of Springfield; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a best friend, Gloria Thomas.

Services were Friday, May 1, at Plato Baptist Church with Pastor Cliff Wheat officiating. Burial was in Palace Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
