A Cabool woman received moderate injuries Friday in a Douglas County crash 20 miles south of Ava, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Sgt. K.A. Jones said Barbara S. Weatherman, 48, was driving a 2005 Kia Sportage that ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and went off the left side of the roadway. It overturned, went down a steep embankment and landed on its wheels in a ditch, he said.
Weatherman, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. The vehicle was totaled.
