An Edgar Springs man was sentenced Aug. 19 to seven years in prison in connection with death of a Florida man in an April 2008 crash north of Houston.
Bobby J. Oller was the driver of a truck that sideswiped a trailer-truck unit, causing an accident involving two other vehicles, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
A passenger in Oller’s truck, Charles L. Gibson, 61, of Dade City, Fla., was killed.
Oller entered a guilty plea to involuntary manslaughter and two counts of assault. Five other assault charges were dropped.
