Three persons were injured Tuesday morning in a head-on crash north of Evening Shade on Palace Road, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Curtis Haden said a southbound 2001 Ford Mustang driven by Julie M. Wright, 44, of Plato, and a northbound 1999 Chevrolet Lumina operated by Tyler E. Williams, 18, of Plato met in a curve in the center of the road, hitting head-on.
Wright and a passenger in the Williams vehicle, Ariana F. Woods, 17, of Roby, were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Williams refused treatment.
Haden said both vehicles received extensive damage.
