Kenneth Dale Brooks, 44, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in Mountain View.
He was born Nov. 17, 1965, in Mountain View, son of Kenneth and Beverly Burks Brooks.
He enjoyed hunting and collecting arrowheads, fishing and riding his dune buggy and four-wheeler. He rode horses and competed in horse shows when he was young. He loved weekend trail rides with friends and family. He collected guns and spent much time with his nephew, Dalton. He took him hunting, fishing and hunting for arrowheads.
He loved helping friends, especially during storms. He enjoyed working with heavy equipment, visiting nursing homes and dancing with his daughter at school dances.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; a sister, Kristen Brooks; an aunt; and an uncle.
Survivors include his parents; a daughter, Kendra Brooks of Mountain View; two brothers, Bryon and Kevin Brooks of Mountain View; three nieces; a nephew; two great-aunts; and two uncles.
Services were Saturday, Nov. 21, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Green officiating. Burial was in Arroll Cemetery.
