The Missouri Department of Transportation began performing concrete replacement Monday on U.S. 60 in Texas and Howell counties.
Work is in the eastbound lanes from Highway 181 in Texas County to Highway 76 in Howell County. Weather permitting, work is 24 hours through today (Thursday).
Concrete replacement work is key to maintaining a smooth pavement surface, MoDOT said.
Also this week, MoDOT crews:
—Performed drainage work on U.S. 63 from the Texas County line to Highway 32.
—Repaired shoulders on Highway AW from Highway 17 to the end of state maintenance.
—Performed shoulder repairs on Highway 17 from highways AA to AW.
