A Lynchburg man was injured in a vehicle accident Friday morning on Highway 17 south of Evening Shade, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Marty Wiseman said a northbound vehicle driven by Michael R. Stroud, 30, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Stroud, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to a Fort Leonard Wood hospital with minor injuries. His 2003 GMC sustained extensive damage, Wiseman said.
