Hunters bagged an increased number of turkeys from last year, according to a season-ending tally, the Missouri Department of Conservation reported.

The total was 185, up 55 from last year. The season ended Saturday.

The total: Adult gobbler, 28; adult hen, 43; juvenile gobbler, 35; and juvenile hen, 79.

The top three counties in Missouri were Greene, 266; Webster, 223; and Wright, 215.
