The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce announced its calendar for next year.
Here are the dates and activities:
Jan 30 – Annual chamber banquet, community building.
May 1 – Golf tournament at Oakwood Golf.
May 22 – Springfest barbecue and demolition derby extravaganza.
July 21-24 – Texas County Fair and Old Settlers Reunion.
Oct. 9 – Mayor’s prayer breakfast, community building.
Oct. 15-17 – First Civil War reenactment.
Oct. 23 – Fall demolition derby.
Nov. 27 – Taste of Christmas.
Dec. 4 – Downtown lighting on the Lone Star Plaza.
Dec. 11 – Houston Christmas parade.
