Filings open for school boards, city and water panels – as well as other elective posts – on Tuesday across Texas County.
The declaration of candidacies continues until 5 p.m. Jan. 19.
Patrons will fill positions on school district boards, city-elected jobs and representatives on water district political subdivisions.
In the City of Houston, voters will decide three council ward positions.
County-wide a trustee’s slot will be decided.
