The Missouri State Highway Patrol said it is investigating a group involved in asphalt paving scams in the Troop G area.
The patrol said it received a complaint Wednesday regarding a group allegedly involved in fraudulent paving activity near Mountain View. Several individuals have been questioned, the patrol said, but no formal charges have yet been brought.
Anyone who has been a victim of the scheme or who has information pertinent to the case is asked to call the Troop G headquarters at 417-469-3121.
