A Licking woman was seriously injured Friday morning in a crash about four miles north of her hometown.
Tpr Myron Downing said a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Monica A. Davy, 52, struck a 1998 International dump truck, forcing her vehicle off the road as it overturned several times. Davy, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected by the vehicle. The other driver, Donald A. Steelman, 53, of Salem, was not injured.
Davy was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. Her vehicle was totaled.
Six highway patrol officers were on the scene.
