Revenue from three sales taxes collected by merchants in the county was down slightly under the latest monthly distribution, according to a report from the Missouri Department of Revenue.

The tally was about $81,000 on each, which was down about 2 percent from the same period a year ago. For the first 11 months of the year, each half-cent sales tax has generated about $840,000 each, which is down about 3 percent for the year.

The three taxes are used for debt repayment on the justice center, maintenance needs and general operational requirements.
