Texas County’s unemployment rate dropped slightly to 9.2 percent, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported Monday.
The figure was a decline of one-tenth of a percentage point from the previous month, the agency said.
The average in south-central Missouri was 9.2 percent.
Area counties and their unemployment rates were: Douglas, 8.4; Howell, 8.6; Shannon, 13.4; and Wright, 9.8.
