A 13-year-old Houston girl was injured Friday night in a Wright County crash near U.S. 60 and Highway 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. S.W. Cunningham said an eastbound 2004 Ford Explorer driven by Marsha D. Martin, 37, of Houston, slid on ice- and snow-covered roadway, overturned and struck a road sign.

A passenger, Hailey R. Dodson, 13, was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital by a St. John’s ambulance with minor injuries.

The vehicle was totaled. The patrol said Martin was not wearing a seat belt.
