A Cabool man is charged with leaving the scene of an accident on Jan. 24.
Houston police said Levi A. Bittle, 28, posted $25,000 bond following the accident on Holt Street. Authorities said damage was reported to Stephanie E. Lewis’s 1996 Chevrolet Corsica.
The entire passenger side of her vehicle sustained damage estimated at more than $3,200. According to a report, Bittle threatened to kill those who had knowledge of the mishap if they spoke to police.

-Charged Barbara A. O’Neail, 65, of 15104 Hog Creek, with failing to drive on the right half of the roadway following an accident Jan. 27. Police said O’Neil was the driver of a car that was making a left turn at South Sam Houston Blvd. and Holder Drive. According to a report, the vehicle turned too sharply and struck a stopped vehicle driven by Scotty W. McKinney, 50, 9075 Highway E.
