Bobby Dewain Hall, 48, of Columbia, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.
He was born Sept. 23, 1961, in Houston, son of Dewain and Hazel Massey Hall.
He graduated in 1980 as salutatorian from Houston High School, where he received the John Phillip Sousa Award for trumpet performance. He then attended the School of the Ozarks, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
He was first and foremost committed to the Lord, but also loved football and coached baseball.
He was also an avid runner and ran a marathon in 2004.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Sherry of the home; two sons, David Hall and Nathan Hall of Columbia; and many relatives and friends.
A memorial service was Friday, Feb. 26, at Woodcrest Chapel in Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Nathan Hall Education Fund at Missouri Credit Union, 111 E. Broadway, Columbia, Mo., 65203.
