Revenue from sales taxes collected by Texas County merchants was down in the latest monthly distribution, according to a Missouri Department of Revenue report.
The county receives funds from three half-cent sales taxes. Each generated about $82,300, a decrease of about $7,200 on each.
In the first two months of the year, collections show an increase. The tally for the year is about $154,400 on each.
