The South Central Workforce Investment Board is partnering with Missouri Enterprise and several other local organizations to sponsor a Profit 101 workshop in Houston.
The event is 8 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the Texas County Justice Center.
“I believe in this very difficult economy, it will be the companies that can quickly develop new products and services, open new markets, find new customers and create effective marketing messages, that will achieve profitable growth and succeed,” said Tana Holder, executive director of the South Central Workforce Investment Board of West Plains.
“We think that the Eureka Winning Ways© Profit 101 system will help companies develop the skills to do this,” Holder continued, “which is why the South Central Workforce Investment Board is partnering with Missouri Enterprise and several other local organizations to sponsor a Profit 101 workshop.”
Eureka Winning Ways© Profit 101 teaches business leaders and their teams the proven methods of a system for growing profits, based on scientific principles from the analysis of the success and failure of more than 4000 innovations and ideas.
During this highly interactive workshop, participants use the system to create growth ideas for the fictional “Buzz Electronics” company, whose sales are declining due to an economic recession and foreign competition.
In this half-day workshop, participants learn how to sharpen and focus marketing messages; attract new customers with both new and current products; sell more current products; bring new products to market and become meaningfully unique when compared to the competition.
Missouri Enterprise Project Manager and Eureka Winning Ways© Certified Growth Coach Rick Prugh will lead the participants through the Profit 101 process.
The City of Houston and South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG), Pomona are also cosponsoring the event.
To register (advance registration is required) or for more information about the workshop, visit “seminars and events” at www.missourienterprise.org or call 800-956-2682.
