Houston police investigated two cases of vandalism during the last week.
Officers:
-Were called to Houston High School, where Sandy Cremer, 42, 16785 Tiffany Drive, reported someone had punctured a tire on her 2006 Jeep Liberty. The damage was estimated at $173.
-Investigated vandalism to two electric meters at the Edward Jones building at 101 E. Holder Drive. The damage on March 17 was estimated at $200.
In other matters, police:
-Heard from Sharon Transmeier, 64, of 1312 Briarwood Dr., who reported medication had been stolen from her mailbox. U.S. Postal Service records show that the prescription drugs had been delivered on March 1.
-Arrested Kerry T. Roberts, 18, of Houston, on March 20 on a Crawford County warrant charging him with having no proof of insurance. Roberts was released after posting $250 bond.
-Cited Eddie W. Merckling, 74, of Raymondville, with failing to yield the right-of-way following an accident at West Highway 17 and South Sam Houston Blvd. on March 19. Police said Merckling’s vehicle crossed traffic when it collided with a pickup driven by Jeremy D. Wilson, 26, of Houston. Both vehicles came to rest in the lot entrance of O’Reilly Automotive and Crowley’s HomeWorks, officers said.
-Charged Dallas M. Doyle, 31, of 204 W. Steffens, with driving while suspended on March 19.
